This product brings in Chrysoperla carnea, or green lacewing—but don’t expect the grown-ups to do the heavy lifting. It’s the larvae you want: small, grey, and constantly on the move. They wander through the crop like little pest-seeking missiles, chomping their way through anything soft-bodied and in the wrong place. Aphids usually get hit first, but they’re not fussy. Thrips, spider mites, whitefly nymphs, leafhoppers—even young caterpillars—none of them get a free pass.

That kind of broad appetite makes them especially handy when pest problems overlap. If sprays are off the menu, or you’ve already got other beneficials in play, CHRYSOcontrol blends in and backs you up without disrupting the rest of your programme.

Application advice:

Apply 10–20 larvae per square metre for routine protection, or up to 50 per m² if you’re already seeing pest activity. Shake them straight onto the foliage—not the compost—and aim for a calm time of day. Early morning or near dusk works best. Steer clear of recent pesticide sprays that could get in their way.
