Professional misting applications

The AKF-1000 is suitable for compatible misting applications in controlled growing and working environments. For plant treatments, foliar products or disinfectants, always verify that the liquid label and equipment instructions specifically permit fogging and the intended setting. Do not assume every pesticide or disinfectant can be aerosolised safely.

Understanding adjustable droplet size

The reported droplet adjustment range is 10–150 microns. Finer droplets remain airborne for longer and increase inhalation and drift considerations; coarser settings behave differently. Choose settings according to the authorised product instructions, target surface, ventilation and risk assessment.

Safe preparation and operation

Use the equipment manual, inspect the tank and cable before use, and keep people and animals clear where required by the treatment instructions. Wear any protective equipment required by the liquid label and risk assessment. Never use flammable liquids unless expressly approved by the equipment manufacturer; avoid operating around ignition sources.

Cleaning and storage

After use, empty and clean the tank and delivery components in accordance with the manual and the chemical product instructions. Do not mix residues of incompatible products. Store clean and dry, with the power cable protected from damage.

For professional growers and facilities

The combination of adjustable fine mist, portable operation and a 5L tank can be useful where a compatible liquid must be dispersed across a suitable area. Effective coverage depends on the liquid, room conditions, droplet setting and application technique.
