Winter Ground Protection for Professionals: Why Covering Up Now Pays Off Later

by Katie Leedham on Nov 11 2025
Winter Ground Protection for Professionals: Why Covering Up Now Pays Off Later Winter might be quieter above ground, but it’s the perfect time to protect what lies beneath. For professional growers, landscapers and nurseries, effective ground and crop protection isn’t just seasonal housekeeping – it’s a smart way to reduce weed pressure, prevent frost damage and preserve soil structure ahead of spring production. At Creation Horticulture, our winter protection range is built for commercial use – offering durability, reliability and long-term performance in all conditions.

Networking in the South West: Creation Horticulture at the SW Growers Show

by Katie Leedham on Oct 07 2025
Networking in the South West: Creation Horticulture at the SW Growers Show Last week, Creation Horticulture exhibited at the South West Growers Show in Exeter — our latest stop in a growing programme of trade events across the UK. While SWGS might be a relatively small show compared to some, it offered exactly the kind of platform we aim to make the most of: face-to-face connections, fresh leads and a chance to show up in the market with intent. Held at the Matford Centre, the South West Growers Show is the region’s only dedicated trade event for growers, plant buyers, garden centres and landscaping professionals. It brings together specialist suppliers, plant introductions and horticultural services in a compact but highly relevant setting. We met some excellent people: growers looking for new media, retail businesses keen to diversify, landscaping firms seeking reliable supply chains. We signed up new trade customers, took orders on site, and collected quotes from prospects for follow-up. The conversations were warm, grounded and full of potential. We’re serious about building relationships, and every show is another step. SWGS let us introduce our brand in a focused region, engage with industry peers building in the South West, and deepen our understanding of local growers’ needs. It’s part of a deliberate strategy: to support our presence across the UK, making consistent appearances, forging ties with new suppliers and positioning Creation as a trusted partner in the horticulture space.  A big thank-you to everyone who stopped by for a chat in Exeter. If we didn’t manage to catch you this time, give us a shout — we’d be glad to talk about how we can work together. Couldn’t catch us at South West Growers? If we missed you at the show and you’d like to have a chat or arrange a visit from one of our Southern agents, we’d love to hear from you.
