A flowering-stage pH adjuster for lowering the pH of nutrient solutions and keeping root-zone conditions within the required range during bloom.

Ecolizer pH Down Bloom is a liquid pH adjuster developed specifically for use during the flowering stage. It provides growers with a straightforward way to lower the pH of irrigation water or a prepared nutrient solution when readings are higher than required.

Maintaining suitable pH conditions is an important part of nutrient management. Even when the correct nutrients are present, an unsuitable root-zone pH can affect how readily individual elements are available to the plant.

Ecolizer separates its pH Down products into Grow and Bloom formulations, allowing growers to use the flowering-specific version once the crop moves into bloom. The 1L bottle is suitable for regular use in hydroponic, coco and other nutrient-based growing programmes where accurate pH management is required.

Why choose Ecolizer pH Down Bloom?

Made for the flowering stage – the Bloom formulation is intended for pH management once plants have entered flowering.
Lowers nutrient solution pH – provides controlled correction when the measured pH is higher than the required level.
Supports nutrient management – maintaining an appropriate pH helps keep nutrients available within the root zone.
Ideal for reservoir management – useful when preparing and correcting nutrient solutions for hydroponic growing.
Works with established feeding programmes – use after preparing the nutrient solution to make the final pH adjustment.
Separate Grow and Bloom formulations – allows pH management to follow the stage of the crop cycle.
1L format – a practical size for regular pH management in growing rooms and horticultural applications.

What is Ecolizer pH Down Bloom used for?

Ecolizer pH Down Bloom is used to reduce the pH of water or nutrient solution during the flowering stage. It is particularly useful where source water or the completed nutrient mix produces a pH reading above the level required for the growing method or substrate.

Rather than being a plant feed or flowering booster, pH Down Bloom is a nutrient-management product. Its job is to correct the acidity of the final solution so that the root-zone environment can be managed accurately throughout flowering.

Because the amount required depends on the starting pH, water chemistry, nutrient concentration and volume of solution being prepared, pH Down should be added gradually while measuring the solution rather than treated as a fixed-dose nutrient.

How to use Ecolizer pH Down Bloom

Prepare the water and nutrient solution first, following the feeding programme being used for the crop. Mix thoroughly, then measure the pH with a suitable calibrated pH meter.

If the pH is above the required level, add Ecolizer pH Down Bloom gradually, mixing the solution thoroughly after each addition. Allow the solution to stabilise and measure the pH again before adding any more.

Continue with small adjustments until the required pH has been reached. Avoid adding a large amount in a single dose, as the quantity required will vary according to the water and nutrient solution being adjusted.

Ecolizer pH Down Bloom is a concentrated pH-control product. Handle carefully, avoid contact with skin and eyes and keep out of reach of children. Follow the safety information supplied with the product.

Ecolizer pH Down Bloom FAQs

What is Ecolizer pH Down Bloom used for?

Ecolizer pH Down Bloom is used to lower the pH of water or nutrient solutions during the flowering stage. It allows growers to correct a solution that is above the required pH before feeding plants.

When should I use Ecolizer pH Down Bloom?

Use the Bloom formulation during the flowering stage when a measured nutrient solution needs its pH reducing. Ecolizer also produces a separate pH Down Grow formulation for vegetative growth.

How much Ecolizer pH Down Bloom should I use?

There is no single fixed dose suitable for every nutrient solution. The amount required depends on the starting pH, water chemistry, nutrient concentration and volume being prepared. Add a small amount, mix thoroughly, measure the pH and repeat until the required reading is reached.

Should I add pH Down before or after nutrients?

Prepare and thoroughly mix the nutrient solution first. Measure its pH and then use pH Down Bloom to make the required final adjustment, mixing and retesting between additions.

Why is pH important during flowering?

Root-zone pH influences the availability of nutrients to the plant. Keeping the nutrient solution within the appropriate range for the growing method helps growers maintain more consistent nutrient availability throughout flowering.

Can I use Ecolizer pH Down Bloom in hydroponics?

Yes. pH Down Bloom can be used to correct prepared hydroponic nutrient solutions during flowering. Measure the solution with a calibrated pH meter and adjust gradually.

Is Ecolizer pH Down Bloom a flowering nutrient?

No. It is a pH-control product rather than a base nutrient or bloom booster. Its purpose is to lower the pH of the prepared solution when adjustment is required.

What is the difference between Ecolizer pH Down Grow and pH Down Bloom?

Both products are designed to lower pH, but Ecolizer separates them according to the crop cycle. pH Down Grow is intended for vegetative growth, while pH Down Bloom is the flowering-stage formulation.

Do I need a pH meter when using Ecolizer pH Down Bloom?

Accurate measurement is strongly recommended. A pH meter allows you to establish the starting pH, monitor each adjustment and stop adding pH Down once the required reading has been reached.
