Use this product for cushioning contact points in compatible tree-support installations. Select stakes, ties and support components according to the size of the plant, exposure of the site and the support system being used.

A correctly installed support should reduce damaging movement without holding the trunk completely rigid. Some natural movement helps the plant develop as it establishes.

Installation & ongoing checks

Position ties and support components so they do not rub, cut into or constrict the bark. Avoid over-tightening and inspect the installation regularly as the trunk or stems increase in diameter.

Adjust or remove supports once they are no longer required. Leaving a tie in place for too long can cause restriction or damage as the plant grows.
