The adjustable output means the pump does not have to operate at maximum airflow all the time. Air delivery can be reduced to better suit the number of outlets and diffusers in use.
How to use the Hailea ACO-9610
Position the pump on a firm, level surface above the water level of the reservoir. Connect compatible 4mm airline to the required outlets and attach an air stone or suitable diffuser to the opposite end of each airline.
Place the air stones in the nutrient solution before switching the pump on. Once running, use the rotary control on top of the ACO-9610 to adjust the airflow until the required level of aeration is achieved.
Keep airline runs free from sharp bends and kinks that could restrict airflow. If the pump needs to be installed below water level, fit suitable non-return valves to the airline to help prevent water siphoning back towards the pump if it stops.
Check the airline and air stones periodically for restrictions or deposits. The pump uses replaceable diaphragm components, allowing it to be serviced as these parts wear through regular use.
