The TrolMaster PPH-2 is a commercial-grade, heavy-duty pH probe designed for continuous monitoring of nutrient solution within reservoirs and water tanks.
Used with a compatible TrolMaster AMP-2 or AMP-3 Sensor Board, the PPH-2 provides continuous pH monitoring as part of a TrolMaster irrigation and nutrient-management system. This allows growers to keep track of changes in nutrient-solution acidity or alkalinity without relying solely on periodic handheld measurements.
The PPH-2 is designed primarily for in-tank use, making it particularly suitable for nutrient reservoirs, irrigation tanks and other liquid-monitoring applications. A generous 3.6m cable provides flexibility when positioning the probe in relation to the sensor board and controller.

Continuous nutrient solution pH monitoring

Important pH probe care
Never allow the PPH-2 pH probe to dry out completely. TrolMaster specifies that its pH probes must be stored using the storage cap and the correct probe storage solution.
If the sensing element is allowed to dry completely, the probe may no longer function correctly. TrolMaster also states that pH probes returned without the storage cap and in a dry condition are not eligible for warranty coverage.
Correct storage, routine cleaning and regular calibration are therefore important for maintaining reliable pH measurement.
