Compact 2 way adjustable air pump delivering up to 7.2L/min for aerating hydroponic nutrient reservoirs, DWC systems and two air stones.
The Hailea ACO-9602 is a compact twin-outlet air pump designed for growers who need reliable aeration without moving up to a larger multi-outlet unit. With two individual air outlets and a combined maximum airflow of 7.2 litres per minute, it is ideal for running a pair of air stones or providing aeration at two points within a hydroponic system.
A variable flow control on top of the pump allows the overall output to be adjusted to suit your setup. This makes the ACO-9602 a flexible option for smaller DWC systems, propagation setups and nutrient reservoirs where the required airflow can vary.
The pump uses an oil-free diaphragm design together with multilevel sound suppression and vibration damping. With a rated noise level below 40dB and power consumption of just 5W, it provides efficient continuous aeration without the size or power demand of a larger air pump.
The ACO-9602 is particularly well suited to growers who want to operate two air stones from one pump. Each outlet can feed a separate airline, allowing aeration to be divided between two DWC pots or two positions within a nutrient reservoir.
It can also be used where a single reservoir benefits from having two diffusers positioned apart from one another, helping distribute aeration across a wider area rather than concentrating it in one position.
With adjustable airflow from approximately 0.8 – 7.2 litres per minute, the output can be reduced when maximum airflow is not required.
Position the pump on a firm, dry and level surface above the water level of your reservoir. Connect compatible 4mm airline to one or both outlets, then attach an air stone or suitable diffuser to the opposite end of each airline.
Place the air stones into the nutrient solution before switching on the pump. Once running, use the control on top of the ACO-9602 to adjust the overall airflow until you achieve the required level of aeration.
Keep the airline free from kinks, tight bends and other restrictions that could reduce airflow. If the pump has to be positioned below the water level, fit suitable non-return valves in the airline to help prevent water siphoning back towards the pump when it is switched off.
Check your airline and air stones periodically and clean or replace components when deposits begin to restrict airflow. Keeping the air path clear helps the pump maintain consistent performance.
