Use this product for supporting trees against suitable stakes while allowing appropriate movement. Select stakes, ties and support components according to the size of the plant, exposure of the site and the support system being used.

A correctly installed support should reduce damaging movement without holding the trunk completely rigid. Some natural movement helps the plant develop as it establishes.

Installation & ongoing checks

Position ties and support components so they do not rub, cut into or constrict the bark. Avoid over-tightening and inspect the installation regularly as the trunk or stems increase in diameter.

Adjust or remove supports once they are no longer required. Leaving a tie in place for too long can cause restriction or damage as the plant grows.
