The Bio Weed Mat 158 gsm 1m x 100m roll is a biodegradable weed mat designed for suppressing competing vegetation around newly planted trees, shrubs or landscape plants.

It is suited to professional landscaping, nursery and establishment work where the product's size and format match the planting or site requirements.

Key benefits

Designed for suppressing competing vegetation around newly planted trees, shrubs or landscape plants
Suitable for professional landscaping and horticultural use
Stated size: 1m x 100m

Weed suppression around new planting

Position the mat around the plant so the slit closes neatly around the stem while leaving appropriate space for growth. Secure the mat as required for the site and inspect it during establishment.

Weed mats reduce competition around the plant but should be used alongside appropriate site preparation and establishment care.

Professional establishment & maintenance

Successful landscape establishment depends on more than the protection product alone. Check plant stability, watering, weed competition and general plant condition regularly during the establishment period.
