The Aeroplas AC6 Eco-Grey is a professional 6 cell bedding pack for commercial growers, nurseries and plant retailers. Measuring approximately 21 x 18cm, it provides six individual growing cells in a practical production-to-retail format for bedding plants and other suitable young crops.
Each pack contains six separate growing cells, giving individual plants their own growing position while keeping the complete group together for efficient handling, stock management, distribution and retail presentation.
Manufactured from post-consumer recycled PET (RPET), the AC6 provides a modern alternative to traditional polystyrene bedding packs. The thermoformed construction keeps the pack lightweight and practical for high-volume professional horticulture.
The Eco-Grey finish gives the pack a neutral appearance suited to modern garden retail, while integrated label slots provide dedicated positions for compatible plant identification and retail labels.
Manufactured in the West Midlands by UK horticultural manufacturer Aeroplas, the AC6 is designed specifically around the requirements of professional growers, nurseries and plant retailers.
A full pallet contains 5,175 AC6 bedding packs, providing a total of 31,050 individual growing positions.

UK manufactured by Aeroplas
Aeroplas is a West Midlands-based UK manufacturer specialising in plastic products for professional horticulture. Its range includes bedding packs, nursery pots, carry trays and associated products developed specifically for commercial plant production.
Products such as the AC6 combine practical crop production with features intended to simplify plant identification, handling and presentation throughout the horticultural supply chain.
Post-consumer recycled PET construction
The Aeroplas AC6 is manufactured using post-consumer recycled PET, commonly known as RPET. This incorporates material recovered from previous consumer use into a new horticultural product.
RPET provides the lightweight thermoformed construction required for commercial bedding packs while reducing reliance on virgin plastic feedstock.
The Eco-Grey appearance provides a distinctive neutral finish that works well within modern nursery and garden retail environments.
Six individual cells for professional growing
The AC6 divides its approximately 21 x 18cm footprint between six individual growing positions. Each plant develops within its own cell while remaining grouped with the other five plants as one manageable production unit.
A six-cell format is particularly useful where growers require fewer, more generous growing positions rather than maximising the number of plants within each pack.
Complete packs can be allocated to individual cultivars, flower colours, production batches or customer orders, helping maintain organised crop groups throughout suitable stages of nursery production.
Integrated labelling for plant identification
Reliable crop identification is important throughout bedding plant production, particularly where different cultivars or colours may appear similar during early growth.
Integrated label slots provide defined positions for compatible plant labels. Depending on the labelling system being used, these can carry variety names, barcodes, pricing, care instructions or branded retail information.
Keeping identification attached to the bedding pack helps maintain accurate crop information as plants move through production, picking, distribution and retail.
Ideal for bedding & seasonal plant production
The six-cell format can be suitable for a range of appropriate crops, including:
- Seasonal bedding plants
- Young flowering plants
- Seed-raised plants
- Suitable rooted cuttings
- Herbs
- Vegetable starter plants
- Compact ornamental plants
- Retail seasonal multipacks
Crop suitability will depend on species, growth rate, root development and the length of time the plants are expected to remain within the individual cells.
Production-to-retail multipack format
Where appropriate for the crop, the AC6 allows six plants to remain grouped from nursery production through to retail presentation.
This creates a clearly defined sales unit and can reduce the need for additional handling or repacking before the crop reaches the retailer.
For customers, six plants provide a useful quantity for seasonal containers, beds and borders while remaining easy to transport from the garden centre.
Designed for commercial growing at scale
The AC6 format is designed for professional bedding plant production where consistent pack dimensions and known plant quantities help simplify crop planning.
Ten fully populated packs represent 60 plants, while 100 packs represent 600 plants. This makes stock calculations and order preparation straightforward.
A full pallet contains 5,175 AC6 bedding packs. With six growing cells per pack, this provides 31,050 individual plant positions.
