Before treatment, seal the area as effectively as possible by closing doors and windows and excluding draughts. Remove all people, pets, fish and plants from the treatment area. Foodstuffs, utensils and food-contact surfaces must not be contaminated, and water storage tanks should be covered.
Remove the container cap and place the fumer on a fireproof base. Ignite the blue touch paper using a match or lighter and leave the treatment area immediately. Where several fumers are required, position and prepare them before ignition and light them in sequence, beginning with the unit furthest from the exit.
Leave the treatment area closed for the period specified on the product label. After treatment, open doors and windows and ventilate the space thoroughly for at least 30 minutes before re-entering and using the area.
