A fast-acting foliar fertiliser that delivers essential microelements directly through the leaves while helping tackle nutrient deficiencies quickly.
Aptus NutriSpray is a concentrated foliar fertiliser formulated from natural surfactants, plant stimulators and essential microelements. Applied directly to the foliage, it provides an alternative route for plant nutrition when rapid nutrient availability is required.
Once sprayed, NutriSpray leaves an active natural coating containing microelements across the leaf surface. This coating continues to feed and support the foliage before naturally biodegrading within approximately 10 – 15 days.
This makes NutriSpray useful both as part of a planned foliar nutrition programme and when correcting deficiencies, particularly where nutrient availability through the growing medium has been restricted.
The concentrate is diluted at 2ml per litre of water, giving the 50ml bottle enough product to prepare approximately 25 litres of foliar spray.
NutriSpray is designed for foliar feeding, where nutrients are applied directly to the leaf surface rather than delivered solely through the root zone. This provides a useful additional route for nutrition when plants need a rapid supply of microelements.
It is particularly useful for correcting common nutrient deficiencies where nutrient lockout or restricted availability within the growing medium is preventing the root system from supplying the plant effectively.
NutriSpray can also be incorporated periodically into a wider Aptus nutrition programme for general foliar nutrition rather than waiting for a visible deficiency to develop.
The Aptus UK programme uses NutriSpray as a foliar application across vegetative development and flowering where required. Application timing should follow crop development and growing conditions rather than assuming every crop follows the same fixed number of weeks.
Always dilute NutriSpray before application. Mix 2ml of Aptus NutriSpray per 1 litre of water and apply the diluted solution across the leaf surface.
For 1L of foliar spray, use 2ml. For 5L, use 10ml. For 10L, use 20ml. For 25L, use 50ml.
A 50ml bottle therefore prepares approximately 25 litres of foliar spray at the standard Aptus application rate.
Apply the diluted solution evenly across the foliage. Good coverage of the leaf surface is more important than applying excessive quantities of spray.
NutriSpray can be used for general foliar nutrition or as a corrective treatment when nutrient availability through the root zone is restricted. Never apply the concentrate undiluted.
For indoor growing, apply foliar sprays with the grow lights switched off. Allow the foliage time to absorb the spray before returning plants to intense lighting.

Yes. NutriSpray is specifically designed for both general foliar nutrition and deficiency correction. Foliar application can be particularly useful when nutrient availability through the growing medium has been restricted.
Yes. Aptus specifically identifies nutrient lockout in the growing medium as a situation where NutriSpray can be used to supply nutrients through the foliage.
NutriSpray forms an active coating on the leaf surface. Aptus states that this layer fully biodegrades within approximately 10 – 15 days.
Yes. Never use NutriSpray at full strength. Dilute it with water at the standard rate of 2ml per litre before spraying the foliage.
NutriSpray is specifically formulated as a foliar fertiliser. The diluted solution is sprayed over the foliage so its microelements can be absorbed through the leaves.
Yes. NutriSpray can be used for foliar nutrition during vegetative development where required, including as part of the wider Aptus nutrition programme.
Yes. Aptus includes NutriSpray as a foliar treatment during flowering. Application should follow crop development and the appropriate feeding programme rather than assuming every crop has the same flowering duration.
No. For indoor applications, apply NutriSpray with the grow lights switched off rather than spraying foliage under intense artificial lighting.
NutriSpray deliberately forms an active natural coating containing microelements on the leaf surface. Aptus states that this layer naturally biodegrades within approximately 10 – 15 days.
NutriSpray is best treated as a foliar nutrition and deficiency-correction product rather than a replacement for the crop's complete root-zone feeding programme.
