Advanced Nutrients Big Bud Coco is the coco-specific version of the company's established Big Bud bloom booster. Rather than simply transferring the standard Big Bud formula into a coco feeding programme, Advanced Nutrients has adjusted the nutrient profile specifically around the characteristics of coco coir.
Its 0-4-4 PK profile is supported by magnesium, two forms of calcium and diversely chelated iron. This combination is designed to help maintain balanced micronutrient availability in coco while supplying the phosphorus and potassium required during active flower development.
Big Bud Coco is used during the main flower-building stage rather than throughout the entire crop cycle. The 500ml bottle provides enough concentrate for approximately 250 litres of nutrient solution at the recommended 2ml/L application rate.
Big Bud Coco is designed for flowering crops grown in coco coir where additional phosphorus and potassium are required without compromising the balance of calcium, magnesium and micronutrients available to the crop.
It is best positioned during active mid flowering, once initial flower formation is established and the crop moves into its main flower-building period. It is not a base nutrient and should be used alongside an appropriate coco feeding programme.
Although the formulation has been engineered specifically around coco coir, Advanced Nutrients also identifies Big Bud Coco as compatible with continuous liquid-feed systems including aeroponics, drip irrigation and emitters, nutrient film technique (NFT), flood and drain and deep water culture (DWC).
