A Bright Debut: Creation Horticulture Makes Its Mark at Four Oaks Trade Show

Last month, Creation Horticulture made its first appearance as an exhibitor at the renowned Four Oaks Trade Show in Cheshire – and what a debut it was. As newcomers to the commercial growing and gardening sector, we couldn't have hoped for a warmer welcome or a busier stand.

From the moment the doors opened, our team was flat out chatting with growers, garden centre buyers, landscapers and industry partners. We signed up a fantastic number of new trade accounts, wrote up orders on the spot, and brought back a healthy bundle of quote requests to price up for the new growing season. The energy across the two days was electric, and the feedback we received was nothing short of brilliant.

One of the talking points of the event? Our van driver, Nick. A familiar face to many of our customers, he quickly became an unofficial mascot for the stand – with attendees stopping for photos and affectionately dubbing him "The Van Driver" (we're pretty sure Jason Statham would approve)!

We were also proud sponsors of the event lanyards and lunch bags, making sure that wherever you turned at Four Oaks, Creation branding was front and centre. Our lunch bags, stamped with "Filled with good stuff, just like our new catalogue," raised smiles and sparked plenty of conversations.

While we didn’t come away with any wins in the New Product Awards, it was still great to have entries like BioCore Agri, Growers Own and The Green Flame Company featured in the line-up. It gave us the chance to showcase some of the brands we’re working with and spark conversations with potential buyers and collaborators.

A special shoutout must go to our partners at Royal Brinkman, who looked after us so generously throughout the show and helped represent our exciting new growing media range from Van Der Knaap. Looking ahead, we’re gearing up for the South West Growers Show in early October and already planning our return to Four Oaks next September. If our first outing is anything to go by, we’re in for another great year.
