SIRFIcontrol R introduces Sphaerophoria rueppellii, a heat-tolerant hoverfly species well adapted for aphid control in warmer protected cropping systems. Effective against a wide range of aphid species including Aphis gossypii and Myzus persicae, the larvae actively hunt and consume colonies at all life stages. Suitable for Mediterranean crops, capsicums, and summer tunnel growing, it supports organic systems and enhances biodiversity while reducing chemical inputs.
